Each year, we allocate 15% of our earnings from the R Party towards supporting our elementary and middle schools through annual grants. We see it as our way of strengthening bonds between our broader Roosevelt community and setting future Rough Riders up for success at an early age.
This year, we distributed $9,500 to Callanan, Edmunds, Greenwood, Hanawalt, Hubbell, King, Merrill and Windsor. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to invest in a reading fluency program, an after-school art club, recess equipment, specialized literature for SEL learning, and student enrichment club activities such as STEM, coding, art, and team sports.
