Roosevelt’s talented performers were well represented at the 2019 All-State Music Festival held in Ames on November 21-23.
Students selected from the Roosevelt band included senior Olivia Appel and juniors Will Custis and Lauren Carpenter. Students selected for orchestra were senior Katharina Schmidt, sophomores Ryan Huang and Hugo Kaut, and freshman Campbell Helton.
Didn’t get to attend All-State? Here’s your next chance to see Roosevelt’s talents. Mark your calendars for the Roosevelt Fine Arts Concerts on February 25th and February 27. As a music department we are preparing for our fine arts concerts held on February 25th and February 27th. These two concerts will feature students from choir, band, and orchestra. The
concerts will take place in the auditorium at 7 p.m. both evenings.
